Cookie Policy
Effective: July 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") describes the cookies and similar storage and access technologies employed on the website operated at https://kaizant.com (the "Website") by Kaizant LLC (the "Company", "we" or "us"), the purposes for which each is employed, the lawful basis relied upon, and the means by which you may exercise control over them. This Policy supplements, and should be read together with, the Company's Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions
"Cookie" means a small text file placed on your terminal equipment by a website. "Similar technologies" means any other means of storing information on, or gaining access to information stored on, your terminal equipment, including local storage, session storage, indexed databases, pixels, beacons, software development kits and device fingerprinting. "Strictly necessary" bears the meaning given to it in Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and in Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. "Consent" bears the meaning given to it in Article 4(11) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
2. Lawful basis
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by you, and technologies that store only a preference you have expressly set, are exempt from the consent requirement and are placed without it. No other category is employed on the Website. The Company relies on no legitimate interest to place any technology on your terminal equipment.
3. Technologies employed
| Identifier | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| kaizant_session | First-party cookie | Maintains an authenticated session so that material to which you have been granted access is disclosed to you and to no other person. Strictly necessary. | 7 days, or until sign-out |
| kaizant_login | First-party cookie | Binds an authentication request to the response returned to it, preventing cross-site request forgery of a sign-in. Strictly necessary. | 15 minutes |
| kzt_consent | First-party cookie | Records the election made in response to the cookie notice so that the notice is not presented again within the retention period. Contains a single value and no identifier. Strictly necessary to give effect to your election. | 6 months |
| kzt.a11y.* | First-party local storage | Stores the text size, contrast, motion and link-underline settings you select in the accessibility panel. Written only upon your instruction and reversible by the same control. | Until cleared by you |
4. Technologies not employed
The Website does not employ analytics, advertising, retargeting, audience measurement, conversion tracking, tag management, social media plug-ins, embedded third-party content, or device fingerprinting of any kind. No information stored on or read from your terminal equipment is disclosed to any third party. The Company does not sell or share personal information within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, or any analogous state statute.
5. Consent and withdrawal
Where consent is required it is obtained before the technology concerned is placed. Consent may be withdrawn at any time and by the same means by which it was given, using the cookie control displayed on the Website. Withdrawal is as straightforward as the giving of consent and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Access to the Website is not conditional upon consent; declining has no effect on the material available to you.
6. Browser controls
You may in addition block or delete cookies through the settings of your browser. Deleting the cookies listed at clause 3 will terminate any authenticated session, remove your recorded election, and cause the cookie notice to be presented again on your next visit.
7. Automated opt-out signals
The Website recognises the Global Privacy Control signal transmitted by means of the Sec-GPC header field or the navigator.globalPrivacyControl property. Where the signal is present it is treated as a valid exercise of the right to opt out, the cookie notice is not presented, and no technology beyond those identified as strictly necessary is placed. The signal is honoured in respect of every visitor and is not conditioned upon any inference as to your location. A subsequent and deliberate election made by you through the cookie control takes precedence over the signal.
8. Amendment
The Company may amend this Policy from time to time. The amended Policy takes effect upon publication at this address under a revised effective date. Where an amendment introduces a technology requiring consent, consent will be sought afresh before that technology is placed.
9. Controller and contact
The controller in respect of the processing described in this Policy is Kaizant LLC, 112 S. French St, Suite 203, Wilmington, DE 19801. Enquiries concerning this Policy, and requests to exercise any right in respect of personal data, may be addressed to [email protected].
